Speculating the Release Date of One Piece Manga Box Set 5

Each One Piece manga box set typically contains around 20 to 23 volumes, covering significant story arcs. The fourth box set concludes with Volume 90, which was originally released in 2018. As of now, the series has surpassed 100 volumes, with Volume 110 scheduled for publication in November 2025.

Based on previous release timelines, Box Set 5 will likely encompass Volumes 91 through 110, covering the Wano arc and beyond. If the final volume of this range is published by late 2025, the box set could realistically be expected around 2026 or 2027. Historically, One Piece box sets have been released approximately a year or two after the final included volume hits the shelves. Therefore, while a 2026 release is an optimistic and wishful thinking, a 2027 release seems more plausible. Keeping my fingers crossed, and wish it is the former & not the latter.

Why Collectors Are Eager for Box Set 5

The upcoming One Piece Manga Box Set 5 will likely cover the Wano Country Arc & the Elbaf Arc, one of the most celebrated storylines in the series. The Wano arc not only advances the plot significantly but also features stunning artwork and character moments that have resonated deeply with fans.

The Elbaf Arc is not the final arc of One Piece, but it is part of the series’ “Final Saga,” which Eiichiro Oda announced in 2022. This saga includes multiple story arcs that will gradually bring the manga to its conclusion, similar to how the “Four Emperors Saga” encompassed arcs like Whole Cake Island, Wano, and Egghead Island.

Elbaf is pivotal for revealing key mysteries, such as the truth behind the Void Century, Shanks’ background, and the path to Laugh Tale. However, at least one more arc is expected after Elbaf, likely focusing on the ultimate showdown involving the World Government, Imu, the Revolutionary Army, and the discovery of the final Road Poneglyph.

In essence, the Elbaf Arc is a crucial step toward the series’ climax, but not the conclusion itself.

Additionally, manga box sets often include limited-edition posters, mini-comics, and other exclusive content, making them even more desirable for collectors. As earlier box sets become harder to find, their resale value has increased, with some sets selling for double or triple their original price.
